no two ever sounded exactly alike and lotsa luck keeping it in tune for punch-ins. Having had one of the original "unnamed hardware devices", i'd say the emulation is about perfect. What is the "unnamed" Analog synth? Any guesses? Comment by darby orr So what´s the point? Next you will tell us that black disk with inferior dynamics sound more analog than CDs? Real VCOs suck because they are unstable. What more needs to be said? Comment by Saxifraga (the "true warm analogue" All Moogs sounded different! Like all Stradivaris did. Monophon? why? To imitate the limitations of hardware is stupid!!! Comment by Syncretia Not that impressed! Comment by Sensual Media
#Monark synth plus#
Sounds cool, but I have all these sounds plus 10,000 more. Not bad, but i think its pretty useless becuase you can make these sounds with every other synth (Reactor) +10.000 more! :) Comment by 3rd Earth i wish it had no ability to store presets like the original.that would put things in perspective for the whingers. you approach it like a model D and it sounds like a model D. sure, some of the sounds can be created by other synths but that's not the point. But the point here is to bring the sounds inside the box, not the quality. Of course, if you go through the effort of doing your own test with Monark and a Minimoog in a sonic clean-room, you may just hear a difference in audio quality. My feeling is that there's no use in scrutinizing Monark's accuracy beyond comparing the timber and feel of the sounds. I don't know if I'm just missing detail through my Hi-Fi speakers, but I can hardly hear a difference!! Makes me wonder if there's some other trickery from NI though. WTF! This is amazing! I can't believe some of these comments. Like most soft synths, resonance still sounds better analog, but this is damn close! Comment by Kid Fiction NI would make Komplete more completer with a cool drum synthesizer. Comment by DJ ZEKI (Japan)Ĭongrats! I can't hear any difference between the Monark and the hardware synth! In future I'm looking forward to a polyphonic synth like this, but my biggest wish is a drum synth, sounding analog like the 909 or 808. This is unbelievable, as in I dont belive it. Make this for for ios yes? Comment by MetaCitizen Real moog was a bit more punchy there Comment by Abide Serene The people who are saying they can hear the difference are making me laugh.

YES THERE ARE DIFFERENCE Comment by Death Disco I seriously question someone who claims they can "hear the difference". Remember, this is no beauty/music contest, it just shows you the raw and real quality of both devices in normal and also rather extreme settings(One goal of this project was to have our clone work in ALL settings)" "You first hear the modeled hardware device and then the same phrase remade with Monark. An A/B test comparing Native Instruments' Monark with an unnamed hardware device.
